About Esteban
Hello! I'm a Mechatronics Engineer with over five years of professional experience in the medical device industry, where I use mathematics, physics, statistics, and analytical problem-solving every day to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
Throughout my career, I've learned that truly understanding the fundamentals is the key to solving complex problems. That's the same philosophy I bring to my tutoring: I focus on helping students understand the "why" behind every concept so they can approach new challenges with confidence instead of relying on memorization.
I enjoy working with high school and university students, whether they are preparing for exams, improving their grades, or building a stronger foundation in mathematics, physics, geometry, calculus, algebra, or statistics. I create a supportive and patient learning environment where questions are always welcome, and lessons are tailored to each student's goals and learning style.
As an engineer, I understand how these subjects are applied in the real world, and I enjoy connecting classroom concepts with practical examples that make learning more meaningful and engaging.
If you're looking for a tutor who is patient, organized, and committed to helping you succeed, I'd be happy to help you achieve your academic goals.

I believe that the best way to learn mathematics and physics is by understanding the concepts, not by memorizing formulas. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop logical thinking, and solve problems independently.
My teaching approach is personalized to each student's needs. I begin by identifying the topics they find challenging and assessing their current level of understanding. From there, I explain each concept step by step using clear language, visual examples, and practical applications drawn from engineering and everyday life. Once the theory is clear, we work through guided examples together before moving on to independent practice, where I provide feedback and strategies to improve problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson includes:
A brief review of previous concepts or homework.
A clear explanation of the new topic.
Step-by-step worked examples.
Guided practice with increasing difficulty.
Time to answer questions and review common mistakes.
Optional homework and study recommendations.
What sets me apart is my background as a Mechatronics Engineer with more than five years of experience in the medical device industry. Every day I apply mathematics, physics, statistics, and analytical thinking to solve real engineering problems. This allows me to connect abstract concepts with practical, real-world applications, making lessons more engaging and meaningful. I also understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style and pace to help each learner succeed.
My lessons are ideal for:
High school students preparing for exams or improving their grades.
University students taking introductory courses in Mathematics, Physics, Geometry, Calculus, Algebra, or Statistics.
Students who need extra support with homework or exam preparation.
Anyone looking to strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills.
Whether you are struggling with the basics or preparing for an important exam, I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where you can ask questions with confidence and achieve your academic goals.
