About Reba

The sound of a perfectly muted string resonates clearly in a quiet room. I specialize in teaching ear training and reading sheet music to help you grasp the architecture of your favorite songs.

My background includes 11 years of experience and a Master of Music in Performance from Berklee College of Music. I have taught 208 students who often start as total beginners or seek to refine their existing skills. I want the reasoning to feel obvious in hindsight so you can play with actual confidence.

I am a late starter who found that a methodical approach is the best way to help others learn songwriting, power chords, and lead guitar. My focus is on ELECTRIC TECHNIQUE and strumming patterns that define a professional sound.

About the lesson

I structure every single session around a dedicated practice module to keep your momentum high. Because I hold a Master of Music from Berklee, I lean on a deep understanding of music theory to ensure you do not just memorize shapes but understand how your instrument works. We spend time on specific strumming patterns and lead lines that feel intuitive because they connect directly to your personal musical goals. This method ensures that your progress remains steady and measurable throughout your development.

I incorporate ear training as a standard part of our work so you can identify intervals and chords by sound alone. You will find that reading sheet music becomes a natural extension of your creative process rather than a chore. My instruction relies on the same rigorous standards of performance I developed while earning my degree. We work through the complexities of your technique to ensure that every note carries intention.

This creates a cohesive flow that connects your practice to the stage. You can expect a clear path forward.
