About Mae

With 20+ years of ESL teaching experience, I help high school and college students achieve fluency, confidence, and academic excellence in English. My teaching philosophy emphasizes personalization, where each lesson is designed to align with the student’s strengths, goals, and learning style.

I integrate grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening exercises with interactive practice, discussions, and real-life examples to make learning practical and engaging. I am known for my patience and adaptability, helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and make steady progress.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching approach is guided by the principles of C³P—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is fostered through storytelling, interactive exercises, and project-based learning, encouraging students to explore language in innovative ways.

Communication is emphasized through dialogue practice, group activities, and presentations, allowing learners to develop confidence and fluency. Compassion drives my methodology; I understand the unique learning pace and style of each student and provide personalized support to ensure progress and motivation.

Problem-solving is integrated through real-world scenarios, analytical exercises, and problem-based tasks that develop critical thinking and practical application of English. I also cover related subjects such as reading comprehension, writing techniques, and communication skills to create a comprehensive learning experience.
