About Lily

I hold a Master’s Degree in Instrumental and Vocal Performance and bring over eight years of experience as a music teacher. My expertise spans both classical and contemporary styles, allowing me to offer comprehensive instruction in violin and electric violin. My background in performance and education has equipped me with a deep understanding of technique and artistry, which I am eager to share with my students.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a personalized and engaging learning experience. I believe in tailoring lessons to fit each student’s unique needs and musical goals. Whether you are a beginner just starting out or an advanced player seeking to refine your skills, I focus on building a strong foundation while also challenging you to reach new heights. My aim is to make learning the violin both enjoyable and effective.

In addition to my extensive teaching experience, I stay current with the latest developments in music education and performance. This commitment to ongoing learning ensures that my teaching methods are both innovative and relevant. I continuously seek new techniques and resources to enhance my lessons and keep students motivated and inspired.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you discover and cultivate your passion for the violin. I take great pride in supporting my students’ musical journeys and celebrating their progress along the way. About the lesson

My violin lessons are crafted to cater to a range of skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced players. Each session is tailored to your specific needs and musical goals, ensuring a personalized learning experience. We begin with a thorough assessment to identify your current skill level and objectives, allowing me to design a curriculum that best supports your growth and development on the violin.

For beginners, lessons focus on building a strong foundation in technique, posture, and basic music theory. We start with simple exercises and beginner-friendly repertoire to develop your fundamental skills and confidence. Emphasis is placed on creating a solid base that will support more advanced playing as you progress.

Intermediate and advanced students benefit from more specialized instruction. Lessons include exploring advanced techniques, intricate pieces, and a deeper understanding of music theory. We work on refining your technique, expanding your repertoire, and preparing for performances or auditions. My goal is to help you tackle more challenging material and achieve a higher level of artistry.

Overall, my teaching approach is both supportive and dynamic, designed to make each lesson engaging and productive. By focusing on your individual needs and interests, I strive to make your learning experience enjoyable and effective, helping you reach your full potential as a violinist.
