My Approach:
As a tutor, I believe that learning should feel empowering, not overwhelming. I focus on building understanding from the ground up, using clear explanations, real-world examples, and tailored practice. Whether you're tackling tricky concepts or preparing for an exam, my lessons are structured to help you grasp the “why” behind the subject—not just memorise answers.
Teaching Techniques:
I adapt my teaching to suit your learning style—visual, auditory, or hands-on. I use a mix of guided discussion, problem-solving, and spaced repetition to make sure knowledge sticks. Regular feedback and encouragement help build both skill and confidence.
Lesson Length:
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, though I also offer 30-minute sessions for younger learners or focused revision, and 90-minute sessions for more in-depth topics.
Qualifications and Experience:
While I’m new to formal tutoring, my experience as a teaching assistant in secondary schools has provided valuable insight into effective teaching methods. I have also recently accepted a teaching role within the university, which will improve and solidify my teaching methods.
Who It's For:
Lessons are open to learners aged 14 and up. Whether you're a KS3 student, preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels, I tailor each session to your goals and pace.
