About Miteya

I have a bachelor’s degree in middle grades education with a focus in math and science. I have been tutoring for 18 years and have 10 years of experience in formal educational settings, including brick-and-mortar classrooms, learning centers, and online schools. I have worked with many students who struggle with various learning challenges or disabilities and enjoy providing the extra attention and care needed to help all students develop the confidence to succeed.

About the lesson

My ultimate goal with all of my students is to help them cross over from thinking math is hard or impossible to realizing it's only as hard as you make it. I will review fundamental concepts and show you how to apply what you already know to help you make connections and build confidence.

My tutoring rate is $40/hour. For 30-minute sessions, I charge $25 (an additional $5) to account for the extra travel time and transportation costs.
