About NUR IZZAH BINTI

I am a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) graduate from UTM Johor Bahru. While studying there, I learned a lot of mathematical courses and lessons such as: 1. Statistics 2. Mathematical Methods 1, 2 & 3 3. Differential Equations 1 & 2 4. Mathematical Statistics 5. Inferential Statistics 6. Computer Literacy 7. Vector Calculus 8. C++ Programming 9. Mathematical Modelling 10. Stochastic Processes 11. Numerical Methods 1 & 2 12. Mechanics 13. Optimal Control 14. Dynamical Systems 15. Set Theory and Logics 16. Linear Programming 17. Functional Analysis 18. Computational Fluid Dynamics 19. Linear Algebra 20. Discrete Mathematics 21. Applied Abstract Algebra etc. I enjoy teaching so much that I love questions from my students and tutees! It shows that they are willing and trying to learn instead of just being ignorant of what they are doing. I would never sigh or feel frustrated with those questions because I am still learning every single day just like them.

About the lesson

As a Maths tutor, I provided guidance to my previous and current students and tutees on the very basics and advanced dimensions of mathematics, helping them overcome the obstacles of dealing with math problems and the frustrations that usually arise from the inability to understand and successfully apply mathematics principles. These are some of my duties and responsibilities while working at Pusat Tuisyen JAZIM Melaka: 1. Teach students in groups with aids from the past year SPM questions. 2. Handle major topics in algebra, quadratic equations, simultaneous linear equations, etc. which average students might struggle with 3. Develop tutorial materials in their simplest forms for easy assimilation by students or tutees 4. Carry out evaluative functions to help ascertain areas of weaknesses of students and assist them to overcome them 5. Prepare the minds of students/tutees through regular reminders and awareness of forthcoming lessons
