About Dara
I am a qualified chemical engineer currently pursuing my QTS to work as a secondary school maths teacher. I have worked as a process engineer for 5 years and I'm currently working in as a teaching assistant in secondary school. In addition, I also have experience mentoring students towards university, gaining them admission into desired Russell group universities. My change in career has come from my passion for education. My versatility enables me to adjust my teaching style to the respective student I'm working with. I do not judge people on face value, I love questions and do not make people feel rushed or incapable. I break everything down smoothly and this has always shown the best results. I really enjoy maths and have a great understanding of the subject. I have always been passionate when it comes to explaining concepts. I love to see the change on someone's face when they're able to understand a mathematical application - making everything worthwhile.
