I am a maths tutor. I have now been teaching maths for 4 years. I have been working in schools with ks1 and ks2 as well as doing online tuition for over a year helping many children to achieve their targeted grades.

I start by getting the ball rolling with a personal introduction post, and encourage participants to contribute their own short bio or introduction to the group.
Create an open forum or discussion board where learners can post to request help and assistance from each other, developing peer-to-peer support.
Set up small groups, similar to traditional study groups, for supportive mentoring of fellow learners.
Asking which areas they are finding difficult and need to be worked on, after asking all the additional informal we can then start focusing on a specific topic and then move on once the students are comfortable.
