About Annabel
I am currently on a gap year between A levels and university. Whilst at sixth form I tutored two year 11 students in maths for two hours a week, and they achieved a 9 (A**) and an 8 (A*). I am also pleased to say that I, myself, achieved the prestigious grade 9 at GCSE, which helped me secure an offer from the University of Oxford to study Mathematics. In addition, whilst also studying for my GCSEs, I took an AS Level in Advanced Maths, where I achieved the highest grade of an A. In the summer of 2019 I worked with a well-known revision website (Physics and Maths Tutor) to produce revision materials for the new maths GCSE, across exam boards AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC. This also included writing model answers to an abundance of past/practice papers.

In general, I like to dedicate at least three hours to one particular topic (of course this can be altered if you feel you need more/less guidance) to ensure a full understanding of the subject, and go through many practise questions. I can teach either 1-to-1, or in a group for a slightly lower cost. Depending on the student, I will set 1-3 hours of homework a week, which will usually consist of a worksheet, past paper questions, or questions I have produced myself. Regardless of the amount of homework you are set, I will always mark it within three days, and email you with any corrections. I would be conducting lessons via Zoom (a video chatting service, available on the app store, play store, or via their website).

Details
All lessons will be priced at £12/hr (excluding multiple hour bookings) and I am happy to do either 30 min, 60 min, 90 min, or 120 min at a time. I am also happy to discuss pricing and offer a lower rate for those students who receive free-school meals, or any other type of financial support from their school. Lessons do not have to be at the same time every week, and I am flexible and can work around you.
