About Dee

I have enjoyed working with young people throughout my long, working career.

I graduated in Fashion and Textiles and completed a Post Graduate course in Applied Youth and Community Studies. and have worked creatively with children and young people for 35 years.

I know how to access potential and imagination in young people. This serves me well in my current Education role within a secondary school.

I can help young learners to focus and perhaps more importantly, express themselves. This is the key to building confidence within the learner.

I apply a range of accelerated learning techniques to keep sessions interesting and appealing to the varied learning styles.

About the lesson

As an experienced Youth Work practitioner, I recognize that every learner has unique strengths with areas for development.

I understand the importance of meaningful engagement with the learner. Recognizing where the learner needs help and building a plan around those learning needs.

Initially, I would prefer to meet parents/ learners online for a zoom chat to assess their needs and my suitability.
