About Chloé
I chose to teach Sociology because I know what it feels like to struggle. During my GCSE's, I found Sociology challenging and often felt lost, but with determination and the right strategies, I was able to turn things around and achieve top grades. That journey taught me the value of support and now, I want to be that support for others. My aim is to form a bridge between confusion and confidence, helping students not just improve their grades, but truly understand the subject and feel comfortable to ask for help.
Psychology always fascinated me - but that didn't mean it was easy. When I first started A Level Psychology, I found the content overwhelming at times. There was so much to understand, and it was easy to feel left behind. Through hard work and effective study techniques , I turned things around and achieved an A* in my mocks. Now I want to help others do the same. My goal is to form a bridge between feeling unsure and feeling capable - supporting students as they grow in confidence and master key concepts

My teaching methodology is designed to ensure that students don’t just memorize content but truly understand the key concepts and ideas behind each topic. I believe that exam success depends not only on knowledge but also on mastering essential exam skills. Therefore, my lessons focus on building a coherent understanding of Sociology and Psychology topics, and then applying that knowledge through targeted practice with exam-style questions.
To achieve this, I use a range of engaging activities—interactive PowerPoints, guided essay planning and writing, and academic games—that make learning enjoyable and help students feel relaxed and confident. This approach moves away from a typical classroom experience, creating a supportive environment where students can actively participate and ask questions freely.
The structure of my lessons prioritizes both comprehension and exam technique, equipping students with the confidence and skills they need to excel in their final exams. My goal is to prepare each student thoroughly, ensuring they feel ready to approach their exams with clarity, coherence, and confidence.
