About Ellyn

I completed a PhD in mechanical engineering with a focus on thermal and fluid sciences. During the course of my undergraduate studies, I spent a significant amount of time tutoring engineering and mathematics courses. In addition, I served as a teaching assistant for thermodynamics and heat transfer courses during a portion of my graduate studies.

About the lesson

I enjoy supporting high school and undergraduate students that are studying mathematics by helping them gain a more thorough understanding of core concepts and practical applications. A key component of my teaching strategy includes first working out example problems and then coaching students through working out problems on their own. My specialties include algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. I would love to begin helping you pursue your learning goals today!
