About Jesamine
Within medicine, as you progress, you are constantly educating those earlier in their career than you. I enjoy teaching and it important to not only my students but also myself that I am the best teacher that I can be.
I have experience of teaching in various settings.
2017: I was part of a maths tutoring programme in my 6th form, where I had private tutoring sessions of 30 mins on A level maths.
2019: I taught English in a classroom to children aged 6-18.
2019: I taught English in small adult group sessions of 6 people.
2019: I did private tutoring to help prepare adults for the IELTS.

The key to improvement, is feedback. I take the approach of establishing where students are at and where they want to be and breaking down all the steps they need to take to get there.
Studying can be overwhelming, but breaking courses into short term goals allows sessions to be focused and manageable. I want students to understand topics on every level, as I believe you really begin to enjoy subjects as you begin to understand them.
I find that lessons from 45-150 mins are better, but I'm open to individual preference.
