About Daisy
Hello, I’m Daisy. I’m a 2nd year medical student with a degree in Psychology from the University of London, and I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB). I’m originally from Oxfordshire, and I know first-hand how demanding school and exam life can be — especially when expectations are high and the pressure starts to build.
Because I’ve been through rigorous academic pathways myself, I understand both the challenges and the strategies needed to succeed. My aim as a tutor is to support students not just academically, but also emotionally, by helping them feel confident, capable, and in control of their learning.
My Teaching Style:
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, so I work hard to create a calm and supportive learning environment. I tailor every lesson to the individual student, adapting my explanations and pace to suit their learning style and goals.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and results-focused. I believe every learner is different, so I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s ability, learning style, and goals. I aim to build confidence as well as subject knowledge, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
I use a mix of clear explanations, guided practice, exam-style questions, and regular feedback. Lessons are structured but flexible, with time to revisit tricky topics and reinforce understanding. I also focus on study skills, problem-solving techniques, and exam strategies where appropriate.
