About Patrick
I am a medical student currently studying at the University of Birmingham, having attended school in Portsmouth. I gained 11 A*’s at GCSE, and went on to study the IB Diploma (A level equivalent) in sixth form, gaining 41/45 points. Please note that I do not have a teaching qualification, and this is reflected in my hourly rate. I do however work part time as a care assistant for the elderly in a care home, and have gained valuable skills in communication and managing challenging behaviour during this time.

One-to-one tuition is a chance for the student to work using methods best suited to them, and I am flexible and happy to adapt to a student’s personal learning style. Classes involve anything from written tests to interactive quizzes and games, depending on what learning techniques best suit the student and the level they are working towards. The first lesson is an opportunity to get to know the student and their preferred learning style.
