About Avery
I have more than 7 years of experience teaching singing and have completed over 1400+ hours of online lessons. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Music from Michigan State University.
I also have outside teaching experience through school music classes, choir groups, and small workshops. I am known for being calm, supportive, and easy to talk to. Many students improve their confidence and enjoy singing more after learning with me. Parents also feel comfortable because I keep learning simple and steady.

Hi, I am a friendly and understanding teacher who enjoys helping students feel relaxed and happy while learning singing. I teach students from kindergarten to senior adults, and I always adjust my teaching style based on the student’s comfort and level.
We begin with simple basics like breathing, pitch, tone, and voice control. Then we slowly move toward improving vocal range, strength, and expression so students can sing more freely and confidently. I also help students understand how to practice properly at home so they can improve faster.
In my lessons, I include music theory, music reading, ear training, and songwriting in a simple way so students don’t feel confused. I also guide students on song selection, voice care, and performance preparation, which helps them grow in a complete way.
Students can tell me before the lesson what they want to learn, and I prepare each lesson based on their needs. I also keep lessons flexible so they can easily fit into daily routines.
