About Cari

I am an experienced and passionate educator with a Bachelor’s degree and a Texas State Teaching License certified for Early Childhood through 6th Grade, including ESL. I have 3.5 years of experience as a Montessori teacher working with children from Early Childhood through Kindergarten, along with an additional 2 years of experience working in early childhood education.

My experience has taught me how to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged. I understand that every child learns differently, and I believe in being patient, adaptable, and encouraging while helping students build both academic skills and confidence.

I bring professional classroom experience, a strong educational background, and a genuine love for helping children learn and grow. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping each student feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

I believe the best lessons are personalized, engaging, and focused on helping each student feel confident in their abilities. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each student’s individual learning style, goals, and experience level.

During our lessons, I take the time to understand what you already know, identify areas where you may need additional support, and create a plan that works specifically for you. I like to explain concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way, using practical examples, questions, and guided practice to make learning feel comfortable and achievable.

A typical lesson may include reviewing previous material, introducing a new concept, practicing together, and finishing with a clear understanding of what to work on next. I encourage students to ask questions and never feel embarrassed about making mistakes—mistakes are an important part of learning!

Whether you are a beginner, looking to strengthen your existing skills, or preparing to reach a specific academic or personal goal, I will meet you where you are and help you progress at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is not simply to teach a lesson, but to help you become more confident and independent in your learning.
