About Victoria

Hi, I’m Victoria! I’m a professional singer and musician based in Dalston, London, with a BA and MA in Music and years of experience as a performer and session vocalist. I’ve toured internationally and collaborated with artists such as Crack Cloud, Julian Gasc, L’éclair, and Marker Starling, contributing as a singer, percussionist, and choir leader. As a front person, I have toured worldwide and supported the likes of Foals, Pixies, Laura Marling and more. My work has been featured on BBC Radio 1, 4, 6, NTS, and Soho Radio, as well as in campaigns for brands like Stella McCartney, Vogue, and Wired.

I take an integrative and holistic approach to vocal coaching, focusing not only on technique but also on vocal health and best practice. I love the voice and I’m very passionate about helping people find their authentic, unique sound. Coaching is completely personalised and tailored to your needs, and I happily welcome all levels and abilities. My lessons are inclusive and supportive of neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ learners, creating a safe and affirming space for everyone to explore their voice. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced singer, my goal is to create a supportive environment where you can thrive and truly enjoy the process of singing.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to you, so we’ll work on what matters most - whether that’s breath control, vocal strength, range expansion, or building confidence for performance. You’ll learn to develop healthy technique while exploring the music that excites you. We can work on a contemporary sound - pop, soul, jazz, experimental, indie, rock or create your own repertoire of covers and or originals.

I also teach belting, harmonising, microphone skills, as well as songwriting, vocal arranging, and music theory to enrich your practice. I draw on my academic background and professional experience to ensure lessons are well-rounded, practical, and inspiring.

Lessons are 45 minutes for £38 or £45 for an hour. Because working with the voice is so personal, it’s important that the fit feels right - so I offer my first 30 minutes for free!

I always aim to create a positive, motivating environment where you can feel at ease and supported every step of the way.

I can also arrange alternate rates for those on a low income on a person to person basis.

Liz is an excellent natural singer with wonderful tuning and fantastic vocal quality. In future lessons, we are going to work on her technique, breath control and performing with a microphone.
