About Daze
Hi there! I’m a passionate educator, lifelong learner, and creative soul with a heart for helping others thrive. For the past 8 years, I’ve worked in special education, supporting students with diverse needs and celebrating every breakthrough along the way. My journey as a foster parent for three of those years led me to one of my greatest joys—adopting my daughter. I taught her English starting at age three, and watching her blossom into a confident communicator has been one of my proudest accomplishments. Outside the classroom, I’m a poet with numerous awards under my belt and a book currently in the works. Words are my playground, and I love helping others find their voice through writing. Whether it’s crafting essays, decoding grammar, or exploring the rhythm of language, I bring creativity and clarity to every lesson. I’m also a certified animal lover—fur, feathers, and scales all welcome! When I’m not teaching or writing, you’ll find me whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, crocheting cozy creations, or cheering on my favorite football team with full fanfare. I believe learning should be joyful, empowering, and tailored to each person’s unique strengths.
