About An
Hi! I am Anan, a local Beijinger with 4 years teaching experience. I can provide a phonic (pinyin) course, HSK, practical spoken courses or something more bespoke depending on your needs. Previously I worked in a Mandarin language school in Beijing and so have already taught hundreds of students of varying ages and learning levels from countries all around the world. Now even some of my students have already become Chinese teachers!

I believe interactive, immersive learning is one of the best ways to study a language so I encourage students to apply what we have learned in the class to real life conversational scenarios. Besides textbook materials, I will introduce topic related sentences and vocabulary for students to practice. Although learning language can be a long and sometimes challenging process, it can also be a lot of fun and I make sure to use a variety of different methods to make the class more enjoyable e.g. learning lyrics, cultural exploration etc. I look forward to having the chance to be your Chinese teacher and help you to learn my native language and culture.
