About Tugba
I'm currently a medical student at Bristol, academia has been a part of my life I have and still am very invested in, especially the sciences, which is what led me to taking up STEM subjects for A level. A levels taught me quite a-lot, and I don't mean just in terms of knowledge; taking exams have become more then just learning content, current A levels test many skills useful for the future but also new ones that are crucial for achieving good grades. i would like to share this knowledge with other students, so they don't have to spend precious limited time during A levels to find said information. Furthermore, I enjoy teaching, especially subjects that I am pretty passionate about, it's amazing to see students progress and fulfil their potential.

Hello! I’m currently studying Medicine at the University of Bristol. It wasn’t an easy journey, however it did help me master the skills needed to learn and revise effectively. Most importantly, the one skill needed to achieve a good grade beside good knowledge; becoming best friends with the mark scheme. Firstly, I experimented with many learning styles in order to learn what’s best for me. I assisted other students in doing the same during my time working at a tutoring centre with GCSE students, which equipped me with certain set of skills to help students reach their best version of themselves in learning and revising. My tutoring style differs for each student as I believe how one student learns effectively could be different for the next one, however there is a common structure that I believe helps majority of students; providing a good base of knowledge, testing and then reviewing our results to target weak areas, and that’s not all. As a student who’s gone through the education system, it didn’t take long to understand the significance of mark scheme language and structure, so the lessons will also include helping students tackle exam boards specific requirements in gaining marks. All in all, I’ll try my best to help you become confident in your subject content-wise as well as polishing up your exam taking skills. I value students input highly, so do not hesitate in requesting a change.
