About Nick
As a tutor, my goal is to turn academic frustration into long-term confidence. Having struggled with math and reading in my early school years, I know firsthand how intimidating complex concepts can feel. Working with great mentors taught me how to take ownership of my learning and approach challenges with patience and curiosity—turning my early struggles into a lifelong passion for problem-solving and mathematics. Today, I bring that same patient, structured, and empathetic approach to my students, helping them conquer difficult material and build confidence that lasts.

As an experienced mathematics teacher and tutor, I work towards building a student's confidence with mathematics and learning. During tutoring sessions, I encourage students to ask questions, make discoveries, and build upon prior learning and experiences. My overall goal with any tutoring session is to help students build a better relationship with mathematics and for students to see themselves as mathematicians.
In the past, I have taught and tutored middle school students through college students. Courses I have taught include middle school math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus I, Calculus II, Statistics, Intermediate College Algebra, and Introduction to College Mathematics.
