About James
Although I have only recently graduated from a TEFL certification program, I have teaching experience as a volunteer stretching back several years, and have been tutoring English students since shortly after I graduated university. I have several hours of experience teaching small groups, and more than forty hours of teaching individual students.

When I teach, I practice in an informal setting. I try to tailor my classes to the needs of the students, especially individual classes. I teaching using the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) structure, which is a well used benchmark all over the world. I am a laid back teacher, trying to engage with my students on both a personal and professional level, in order to make the student more comfortable with the class.

Details
An additional $.25 per hour after the first I have to travel for house visits.
I will allow for three missed lessons without charge, on the fourth rescheduling I will charge an additional $5 fee per missed lesson. If you purchase multiple lessons in advance you will not have to pay for missed lessons.
