About Temidayo
I am a microbiologist, talented drama actress, writer (fiction & poetry) and I have published PDFs of my works. I've been tutoring for over 2 years and have learned the basic tools on teacher-to-student interaction, to eliminate fear and help the student assimilate lessons. After all, if a student can't learn at my pace, I should teach at the student's pace. I taught Basic Science 1 to JSS2 in Command Secondary School for over a year and was awarded the best subject teacher for my class, after which I was handed an additional subject. A remarkable improvement was noted in the students' performance and increased activities during my lessons. I'm still called up by some parents for continuous tutoring of their wards... My teaching method is basically based on how the individual student tends to understand. Mainly practical classes are included to enhance assimilation. Seminar presentations by each student are adopted, to enable the student to teach from their level of understanding and encourage increased study hours. I realized that students tend to retain topics they were assigned during presentations more.
