About Melinda

I was a teacher's assistant for 3 years and have been a tutor and student of stats/math for 5. I've worked with groups and individuals, ages 11 and up (including older, returning students), with no to moderate stats/math backgrounds. Students I assist usually jump one letter grade (i.e. fail to pass, pass to good, etc).

About the lesson

I am a former teacher's assistant, tutor, and a recent master's graduate. My lessons are motivated by the students partaking in them- I try to adapt my teaching to students' academic background, interests (academic and otherwise), and learning style (once we've decoded it).

Perfect! Melinda is a fantastic tutor! As well as being a genuinely lovely person, she is organised, enthusiastic, and patient. Our sessions were extremely productive and she helped me to submit an assignment I am now very proud of. I plan on arranging more sessions in preparation for my upcoming exam, as I'm sure she will help me to feel calm and well prepared. I would highly recommend Melinda to anyone looking for excellent statistics tutoring.

It was absolutely lovely to meet Trudy! To me, every session was productive and easy-going.
