About Patrick
I have been teaching for over ten years, with experience in both mainstream and SEN schools, and I’ve also had the privilege of being part of the Senior Leadership Team. As a teacher, I’m known for being fun, energetic, and passionate about creating a positive and happy environment where children can thrive. I believe in making learning enjoyable by connecting lessons to students’ interests, while always ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum to guarantee progress. My background as both a Science Lead and Behaviour Lead has given me excellent people skills, and I’m adept at adapting my approach to meet the needs of each individual. With over 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher, I offer tailored English lessons designed to meet the unique needs of each child. I take the time to carefully assess where your child is in their learning journey and identify their next steps, ensuring that every lesson is purposeful and well-targeted. I firmly believe that all children learn best when they are having fun, and I make sure that my sessions are highly engaging and, wherever possible, based around your child’s interests to help keep learning fun and meaningful. Whether we’re working on phonics, reading comprehension, writing, or grammar, I aim to build confidence and a love of English in every child I support. After each session, I provide follow-up activities to help reinforce learning and keep progress going between lessons. My goal is to make sure your child feels supported, inspired, and excited to learn.
