About Anton

I am a graduate from the University of Oxford, with a 2:1 in Classics and 3 A*s at A Level in Latin, Classical Greek, and History.

I have tutored various students over the past few years in Classics, ranging from beginners, Latin only, GCSE, and A Level students.

I have also tutored pupils through Oxbridge applications, including the admissions test and interview.

I have a keen interest in teaching and education, specifically in making classics more accessible and in helping those through Oxbridge applications.

About the lesson

I teach Latin and Classical Greek by working through passages in the original language, set texts, grammatical exercises, and prose composition using the Oxford Latin Course, Parts I-III, the Greek to GCSE and Greek Beyond GCSE textbooks.

I also use my own resources, including worksheets and handouts, with a focus on grammar in order to understand why the languages operate the way they do.

Lessons are usually 1 hour and are for all levels, from beginner in either language up to A Level and/or Oxbridge admissions.
