About Edward
I’m a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, where I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I benefited greatly from the one to one teaching style, and I was inspired to offer something similar through tutoring. I also found enormous satisfaction in past teaching work. I love the feeling of working together to understand something difficult, and move forwards. Outside academics, my hobbies include rugby, trail running and literature.

I’m a patient and adaptable teacher, always looking for new ways to explain concepts. In my experience, when a student is struggling, it’s often the teaching that needs to change, not the student. My goal is to build confidence, deepen understanding, and make learning both effective and enjoyable.
