About Aastha

I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in both science and mathematics. With years of experience helping students from Grades 1 to university level, I know how to adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s unique needs. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and growing from them. I hold a degree in Neuroscience and Computer Science, which allows me to explain complex topics in a clear and relatable way. I’m committed to helping students not only improve their grades, but also develop a deeper understanding and genuine interest in the subjects they study. You can count on me for professionalism, patience, and personalized guidance every step of the way.

About the lesson

My teaching method is personalized and flexible—I create lesson plans based on each student’s individual needs. I begin by understanding what topics they are currently learning, assessing what they already know, and identifying any gaps in their understanding. From there, I focus on strengthening both known and unknown concepts through clear explanations, examples, and interactive problem-solving.

A typical lesson includes a review of current topics, targeted teaching of weaker areas, and independent practice with follow-up discussion. I provide practice questions to reinforce learning and then go over the student’s solutions to help them understand their thought process and correct any mistakes.

What sets me apart is my ability to adapt my teaching style to each student. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—every child learns differently, so I work differently with each one to help them succeed in their own way.

My lessons are ideal for students from Grades 1 to 9 in Math and Science, as well as high school and university-level students studying Biology.
