My name is Shaylin Macgregor, and I’m a passionate TEFL certified English teacher with a strong academic background and a focus on helping students of all ages and levels succeed in English. I hold a Level 5 TEFL Certificate, as well as a Matric Certificate with a Bachelor’s Pass and four distinctions, including a 90% in Business Studies. With my qualifications and experience, I am committed to helping you reach your English learning goals in a way that is engaging, effective, and enjoyable. I specialize in English for young learners, focusing on building their confidence and creating fun, interactive lessons. My approach is designed to keep students motivated and engaged, using a variety of teaching methods like games, songs, role-playing, and visual aids to make each lesson exciting and meaningful. I also have experience working with children whose first language is not English, which has enhanced my ability to adapt my teaching style to each learner’s unique needs. In addition to teaching English to children, I also specialize in Business English. About the lesson

I believe that learning English should be an exciting and empowering experience. As a TEFL certified teacher, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where each student feels confident and motivated to improve their language skills. Methodology
I take a student-centered approach to teaching, meaning that every lesson is tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of the student. I believe in making learning enjoyable by incorporating a wide variety of activities, including games, songs, role-playing, and visual aids. For young learners, I use creative methods like storytelling and hands-on activities to keep them engaged. For business professionals, I focus on practical communication skills, such as writing professional emails, preparing presentations, and conducting meetings, all designed to help them thrive in the workplace.

I use my background in Business Studies and experience teaching drumming to non-native English speakers to approach teaching from a well-rounded perspective.
