About Allison
Hi, I'm Allison! I recently graduated from Penn State with a degree in Industrial Engineering and am starting my career as a Risk Consultant at a leading professional services firm this summer. Throughout my time at Penn State I developed a strong foundation in advanced mathematics, statistics, and physics — subjects I genuinely enjoy and use in my work every day.
Beyond my academic background, I've always had a passion for explaining difficult concepts in ways that are easy to understand. I believe that with the right guidance, any student can build confidence and succeed in STEM subjects that might initially seem intimidating.
I'm patient, encouraging, and committed to meeting each student where they are. Whether you're completely lost or just need a little extra push before an exam, I'll work with you at your own pace until things click. My goal is not just to help you pass your next test but to build the kind of deep understanding that carries you through future courses too.
I'm currently based in the Philadelphia suburbs and available for both in person and virtual sessions.

I'm Allison, a Penn State Industrial Engineering graduate and incoming Risk Consultant at a top professional services firm. I specialize in math and physics tutoring from foundational algebra through advanced multivariable calculus and vector algebra.
My approach focuses on building understanding rather than memorizing formulas. I break down concepts into clear steps that actually stick. As an engineer I use this math professionally, so I can show you not just how to solve problems but why the methods work and where they're applied in the real world.
My lessons are tailored to each student — whether you're struggling to keep up, preparing for an exam, or trying to get ahead. I'm comfortable working with high school students through college level, covering Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Multivariable Calculus, Vector Algebra, Statistics, Physics 1 and Physics 2.
Sessions are available in person in the Greater Philadelphia area, as well as virtually via Zoom for students anywhere.
