About Toulie
I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a Ph.D. in chemistry. I love chemistry because it provides an outlet to another world where scenes and rules are all very different. In this small world quantum mechanics rules. I also absolutely love math. It's a language I love to speak and think in, and it's also the tool I bring along whenever I go to my atomic world to explore.
I have been tutoring for almost 10 years now, since 2012.

I have taught a wide range of classes, from 7th-grade science to college courses such as organic chemistry and quantum mechanics. In between are AP Calculus and AP Chemistry which I produced an average class score of 5 year after year.
What I love most about teaching is helping students unlock the secret of learning in the context of understanding a concept or a formula. To find a path to that door to the secret garden based on the student's questions is the challenge that enriches my teaching experiences.
