About Ghanwa
Hi! I’m a first-year college student majoring in physics with a deep love for reading and writing. I’ve taken and passed both AP English Literature and AP English Language with high scores, which further strengthened my passion for literacy. With past experience working in two daycares, I’ve developed patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping kids learn. I believe that strong reading and writing skills are the foundation for success in any subject, and I strive to make learning engaging and enjoyable. Whether your child needs support with comprehension, writing structure, or building confidence in literacy, I’m here to help with personalized, encouraging tutoring sessions!

1.) initial assessment and goal setting (I will work with the student to see what they need before setting clear, achievable goals.) 2.) engaging and interactive learning (incorporate real world interests and age appropriate materials such as stories and articles to craft prompts and analytical questions) 3.) skill building and feedback (I will teach how to find things such as main ideas, context clues, and inferencing through guided reading and writing.) 4) ongoing support and practice (will adjust lesson plans based on progress and feedback with maintained communication with the student about how confident they feel with the subject.)
