About Lydia

PhD student in biomedical sciences (medical genetics and developmental biology section), I hold an American bachelor's degree in biology with two minors in chemistry and environmental sciences, as well as a Swiss master's degree in biology. In addition, I am bilingual (FR/ENG), I have good knowledge of German and 10 years of experience in tutoring.

About the lesson

Having worked with students aged 7 to 35, I am very familiar with the Geneva school system (public and private) and I manage to adapt well to the age and level of my students. I also had the chance to take care of students with learning disabilities such as hyperactivity, dyslexia and dyspraxia. My methods consist in helping my students while giving them the means to become autonomous. I move around, help during lessons and I don't hesitate to bring blank tests and/or homework if necessary. Finally, I am patient, smiling and I do not hesitate to rephrase my words if necessary.
