I am Funmi James ,I am a Portrait and wedding photographer
Studied Agric Economics at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology ...Learnt about photography for the 1st time in 2016 when I attended a 2 weeks workshop organized by Red media (Tfess)….was the best decision I ever made…..after that I got a camera although I did take it as a hobby because I was still learning but I officially started 2018 and it has been an amazing journey.
I think photography is not just about capturing reality but capturing our own perception or interpretation of everything around us.
When taking a picture I look out for my subject’s emotion and perception of themselves at that very moment in front of the lens because when you take a picture of someone..it's permanent and you've captured the Truth of them in that moment and that you can keep forever
