About Rocío

I have a degree in physics and I have given private classes at home since I was in 3rd career (about 7 years ago). I worked as a teacher of private classes in an academy in Orihuela (Alicante) for 7 months and for 20 months I worked in England as a science and math teacher in a high school.

About the lesson

My method is related with practicals and close to the student. Whenever possible and the equipment allows it, I accompany the explanations with daily processes or simple experiments. The structure is based on a theoretical introduction, accompanied by daily examples, followed by problem solving, so that the students feel confident to perform exercises related to the unit independently.

Conocí a Rocío cuando ella era profesora en un instituto en Inglaterra. Con menos de un año allí ya se le ofreció se le ofreció un cargo de mayor responsabilidad (algo parecido a ser jefa de departamento). Esto es especialmente relevante teniendo en cuenta que enseñaba en inglés y con un sistema educativo y contenidos distintos a los españoles.

La recomendaría porque es trabajadora, muy comprometida con su labor, se preocupa por los alumnos y es sobradamente competente tanto a nivel educativo como en lo que respecta a los conocimientos de las materias que imparte.
