About Jake

I am a college football player majoring in Physics, Mathematics, and Philosophy, and will work great with any student if they let me work with them. My personality some would describe as fun but focused. I intend to make these sessions not a waste of time but rather real progress in developing math skills. I won't be talking at the student, but with the student. I have been in their shoes before, and know how to get past these academic hurdles.

About the lesson

- Teaching will be first addressing any concepts the student is struggling to grasp using logic and analogies typically, or by demonstration. Once those initial hurdles are cleared up, we will work our way through the subject or work assigned to the student.
- I intend to create a relaxed but productive environment. I am not a middle-aged teacher, I am a college student who understands that these subjects seem boring and that we must bring life into them. A student will not learn if the subject is uninteresting.
- These lessons are for K-12 students looking to improve in their physics or mathematics courses.
