About Miles

My philosophy is that there is no such thing as a "math person" or someone who "just gets science." The reality is that everyone struggles at one point in their journey through the stem courses, all at different points. I do my best to offer helpful analogies, parallels, and examples to make math and science approachable to all.

About the lesson

My knowledge comes from an undergraduate degree in physics and minor in mathematics. I teach using approachable language and techniques in math and physics to ensure no one feels overwhelmed with the content. Typical lessons include conceptual explanations followed by analytical or numerical examples.
