About Kimberly
I have a Bachelor's Degree in English, which I received from Texas Tech University. In addition, I have a Master's Degree in School Counseling. I taught Pre-AP English II for the past 10 years, and I am currently doing so at a local high school. My classes often scored the highest in the district on their essay writing scores. My first and foremost concern is helping high school students reach their goals and find success as they move forward to the next level with their higher education.

Having the experience of teaching English for over 20 years, I have assisted in preparing students for the Texas State Assessment Test (STAAR) as well as to prepare students to be ready for AP courses. In addition, I worked for TTUISD, which is an online high school program through Texas Tech University. Having taught grades 9-12, I am fluid in helping students with their writing as well as their overall understanding of literature.
