About Jess

I am a primary school teacher of over 10 years
I am a kids mindfulness and yoga teacher
I am currently studying children’s counselling

My passion is to help children learn, thrive and be happy and confident in many different areas of life including academic, cognitive, emotional and social.

Lessons are $50 via webcam or $65 if you require me to travel to your house (must be within 10 km)

About the lesson

I have a patient and friendly attitude with an approach that is fun and tailored to the students needs and interests. Finding areas for improvement and supporting students with resources and strategies is my teaching approach. My aim is for children to become life long learners

Perfect! Jess has a gentle, positive and patient approach to tutoring. My son doesn't normally build relationship easily but Jess managed to engage him in literacy activities for the hour session. Jess's observations of Charlie's approach to learning mirrored the concerns raised by his school and she provided a number of strategies she will continue to work with him on, and ones for us to support him with. Really impressed with the connection Jess has built after only one lesson. Looking forward to seeing Charlie build his confidence over the coming sessions.
