Hello! My name is Shumiya Rahman, and I am passionate about education and helping children develop strong literacy skills. With a background in healthcare and experience working in primary schools, I have developed excellent communication, patience, and adaptability—key qualities for supporting young learners. Currently pursuing a degree in Health and Social Care at the University of Cumbria, I have experience working with children in various settings, including assisting teachers at Morecambe Bay Primary. My ability to create engaging, structured lessons ensures that each child receives personalised support in spelling, writing, reading, and literacy.
