I’m Sudipta, an artist and illustrator passionate about sharing the beauty of creativity with others. With years of experience in oil painting, acrylic, watercolour, sketching, and design, I bring both technical knowledge and artistic insight to every class I teach.

About the lesson

As an artist and illustrator, I believe learning art is not just about technique, but also about developing one’s own creative voice. My teaching method is hands-on and adaptive — I make sure every student learns at their own pace while exploring different mediums like oil painting, acrylic, watercolour, sketching, and design fundamentals.

I begin with basic concepts of colour theory, composition, and form, before moving into advanced techniques.
I use step-by-step demonstrations followed by guided practice, ensuring students learn by doing.
I encourage creativity through small projects and exercises, such as painting from life, experimenting with textures, and developing unique design ideas.
Regular feedback and discussions help students improve their technique and confidence.

1. Introduction (5–10 mins): Revisiting the previous lesson and setting the day’s goal.
2. Demonstration (15–20 mins):I show techniques live — brushwork, layering, shading, etc.
3. Student Practice (30–40 mins): Learners try the technique while I guide them individually.
4. Review & Feedback (10–15 mins): Constructive suggestions and discussion of progress.

Personalized attention – I adapt lessons to each student’s age, skill, and interests.
