About Billy
As a professional artist I have been the subject of multiple solo exhibitions in Houston, Dallas, and Fort Worth, as well as group exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Austin, and Dallas. My awards include the Kimbrough Grant to Artists from the Dallas Museum of Art, finalist for the “Mastermind” award by The Dallas Observer, and “Best in Show” from 500x. I am also a toy designer, with work for sale at The Nasher Sculpture Center, and toy boutiques nationwide.
As a designer, I have 20+ years of experience delivering digital products across a wide variety of solutions, including mobile apps, consumer websites, retail products, enterprise applications, games, tools, smart TVs, smart watches, and customer kiosks.

Art-making takes many different forms, and whether it is 2D, 3D, digital, or time-based, I have shaped many memorable experiences in exhibitions for galleries and museums across the US, and with work for a wide variety of companies, from startups to large enterprise organizations.
My approach to teaching is uniquely crafted for the individual, and thanks to my wide breadth of experience, I believe I can both find common ground with my students, as well as to provide them with unique and meaningful insights that will grow their practice and expand their artistic potential.
