About Geniia
I have been teaching languages overseas for two years. As well as teaching languages in the USA for almost two years. I do teach predominantly in academic settings, however, I did volunteering jobs as well. As a volunteer I taught language to refugees and immigrants with limited literacy level. I also worked as a tutor, working directly with graduate students on their academic writing skills.
Overall, I taught over 40 students, who had successful growth of their language proficiency.

Hi! I graduated from Duquesne University with MS.Ed in ESL. I am also TESOL certified specialist.
In my classroom, I implement variety of authentic teaching techniques, including TESOL standards methods, focusing on each student’s personal needs. Being multilingual and diverse myself, as well as instructing students from various backgrounds, established me as a culturally sensitive instructor, who is always concerned about student’s unique needs and approaches. Being active volunteer and instructor for English Language Learners I became aware of different needs students from various social backgrounds might have.
