About the lesson

Hello! My name is Michael, Photography tutor in Birmingham, UK. Here's how I approach tutoring and teaching photography: Techniques and Teaching Methodology I believe in a practical, hands-on approach to teaching photography. Each session is designed to blend theory with practice, ensuring that you not only understand the principles but also know how to apply them. Whether it's mastering camera settings, lighting, composition, or post-processing, I guide my students step-by-step with real-world examples and exercises. I also focus on individual needs, tailoring lessons to each student's skill level and learning pace. I encourage creativity and experimentation while providing constructive feedback to help you refine your craft. Typical Length of a Lesson Each lesson typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing enough time for discussion, practical work, and review. I find this duration optimal for keeping sessions engaging and productive. Qualifications/Experience With over five years of professional photography experience, I have worked on diverse projects ranging from portraits to events and exhibitions. My journey includes building a successful photography brand, and mentoring aspiring photographers to launch their careers. My expertise ensures you gain insights into both the creative and business aspects of photography. Who the Lessons Are For My lessons are open to: Beginners looking to grasp the basics of photography. Intermediate photographers aiming to improve their skills or explore specific genres. Aspiring professionals who want to turn their passion into a career. I welcome students of all ages who are eager to learn and grow in this dynamic field. Let’s work together to turn your passion into stunning visual art and help you make your mark in the photography world!
