About Abasiama

I am a TEFL Certified English Tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience working with learners from different countries, age groups, and English levels. Over the years, I have supported children, teenagers, and adults in improving their speaking, grammar, pronunciation, and overall communication skills, both in classroom settings and online environments.
I am passionate about teaching English because I understand how powerful language can be in opening doors to education, career opportunities, and global communication. My goal is not only to teach English but to help students gain confidence, think clearly in English, and express themselves naturally in real-life situations.
In my lessons, I focus on creating a calm, encouraging, and professional learning environment where mistakes are seen as part of progress. I take pride in adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs, ensuring that every learner feels supported and guided toward measurable improvement.
Whether you are preparing for IELTS, improving your conversational English, or building strong grammar foundations, I am committed to helping you reach your goals step by step with clarity, structure, and consistency.

About the lesson

Teaching Technique
My teaching style is student-centered, interactive, and supportive. I focus on helping students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through real-life conversations, pronunciation practice, grammar improvement, vocabulary building, and personalized feedback. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning pace while creating a comfortable environment that encourages active participation and consistent progress.
Typical Length of a Lesson
My lessons typically last between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the student’s goals, level, and availability. Each session is well-structured with warm-up activities, guided practice, speaking exercises, corrections, and practical assignments to help students improve steadily.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, university students, and working professionals from beginner to advanced English levels. I teach learners from ages 5 and above who want to improve conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, business English, interview preparation, and IELTS performance.
Qualifications and Experience as a Tutor
I am a TEFL Certified English Tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience working with children, teenagers, and adults from different learning backgrounds. I specialize in ESL, ESOL, conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary development, and IELTS preparation. My experience includes both classroom and online teaching, helping students improve fluency, communication skills, and exam performance with confidence.
