About Nicole

I have an M.A. degree in history and geography. I was a professor at Salem State University for 4 and a half years. I also taught at Southern New Hampshire University and Gordon College.
I am a published author and professional editor as well.

I have been tutoring for over 15 years in many subjects and at all age levels. I tutor both in-person and online.
Please note: I do not do homework for my students! Rather, I help my students through their homework so they learn how to succeed on their own. I also incorporate my own lessons to further help each student as needed so they can acheive their individual goals today and in the future.

As a professional editor, I help my students with any academic paper, professional document such as a resume or cover letter, and PhD dissertations. But I don't just edit it for my students; I help them learn why and how I edited each item so they learn to write better going forward and not need editing help in the future.

I am currently accepting new clients in most subjects.

About the lesson

Having experience as a formal teacher alongside many years of tutoring and academic editing, I am a caring and passionate tutor who works with each student to help them in the best way possible for their personal needs, goals, and skill levels.

I create individualized learning plans that help students gain skills to succeed on their own without having to continually seek help from a tutor. This includes weaving in study and organizational skills into all subject matter and editing sessions.

I don't simply set up my students to do well in the subject I'm tutoring. I teach my students how to achieve long-term success in academics and beyond!
