About Gillian
I am a Psychology graduate with a 2:1 in BSc Psychology. I have been privately tutoring university-level students and mature students in the Japanese language for the past 2.5 years and am now looking to teach Psychology as well. I have taught large classes of 30 students including one on one lessons. Some of my students are taught by me alone while others are taking my classes alongside a university course. My students have reported improved grades and have expressed that they are finding their other classes easier since having lessons with me.

I am a strong believer in catering my classes specifically to each student's individual needs. I am educated in a range of teaching techniques and will adapt so that I can teach each student in the most effective way possible. I am friendly and patient. I hold myself to the standards that I would like to see in my own tutors.
I can provide tutoring to students studying from a complete beginner level through to A level.
In short, my lessons are very discussion focussed and I also will provide students with useful reading material to help them gain a deeper understanding of the topic.

Lessons cancelled less than an hour before a physical lesson will be charged 50% of the fee to cover my preparation time and potential travel disruptions.
