Learn how to understand social studies and history in a way that makes sense. I ask questions about what you know to help you understand what you are learning, and I fill in information gaps to improve your understanding. Lessons are flexible in that they focus on concepts students struggle with understanding in class or fulfilling the requirements of history-based assignments.
I have over ten years of experience teaching a wide variety of students with individual needs and abilities, along with a Ph.D. in History. I know how important it is for students to develop their understanding of what they are learning and develop tools to help them maximize their potential. I can help anyone with anything from note-taking and textual annotation to historical research and paper writing.
